Weekend Predictions

Hello All. Again the weekend is here. Its the time we schedule our time according to the European "live" matches. How we can't live without them.
OK, first off....Again I find interest in Chelsea's game.
This time is to take their opponent. A dejected, hurt and tired Chelsea will definitely find it tough against a fresh Tottenham. Spurs has one of the best attack in the Premiership. Three strikers who are good enough to be in the first team and definitely good enough to put at least one ball into Cech's net.
This means that with the Asian handicap at +1 for Spurs, if you take Spurs, you will only lose if Chelsea score three, which....um.....seriously, I think very....very....difficult. Remember, Paul Robinson is at goal, Ledley King and Dawson have been solid all season, so......

OK, next game. Wigan. Unlucky to lose to Man U in the mid week game. After a glorious start to the season, Wigan did fade away a bit after losing to the big guns between November and December. They then win some games and of course lost some, which will have been consider good if not judge against their impressive start.
From the game against Man U, I sense they are coming back and what is really good about Wigan is their consistency. Their lost are mainly to the big boys while beating the smaller teams consistently. So, I believe they will continue their consistency till the end of the season.
Wigan will also want to take this opportunity to gain their winning momentum and hopefully finish strong enough to qualify for Europe next season. So....sorry Sunderland.
Wigan should win by at least one.

A Short Chat with Ronaldinho (I am no potato farmer)

There are talks that Mourinho is interested in bringing Ronaldinho to Chelsea. The way Ronaldinho destroy Chelsea, it is no wonder why Mourinho will be interested. But is Ronaldinho interested in the move?
-------------------------------------

CrazyGuru : Hello....my friend

Ronaldinho : Hey.......my buddy.

CG : From the report, it seems that you will be going to Chelsea after the World Cup.

Ron : No way man. I will not go Chelsea.

CG : I thought so, seems that you are enjoying your time in Barca.

Ron : That is one reason,....the other is, I am no potato farmer. Seriously, I never like potato.

CG : Ha.....you still joking about what Mourinho has done to the pitch.

Ron : It is not a joke. He is serious about the potato thing.

CG : Huh????

Ron : Before I went to Chelsea for the 1st leg of the Champion's League, Mounrinho called me and say that there is potential in the potato business. He say it is a special breed. He called it "cool pota". Grows only in the winter. He asked me to join him in the business, which I turned down. He is crazy.......

CG : Ya....

Ron : We Brazilians likes coffee not some stupid potato. I told him, do coffee and I will be open for discussion. But you know him lah, he really think that he is the Special One, so he kept on with his plan and to convince me, turn the Stamford Bridge to a potato pitch so that he can plant some prototypes.

CG : I see.....

Ron : He has got a few of them. Let me recall......he has got "P24 Potato King", "P99 Sure Eat", "XO Local Potato King", "Golden Potatolo".

CG : Did you try them?

Ron : Yap, I have to, else he will not let me go.

CG : Are they good?

Ron : Believe me, if dog shit is edible, it will probably taste better. But of course, I told him the potatos are not bad. He says that he definitely can make them better than the prototypes. He intend to introduce music to his farming. The potatoes will listen to musics from Beethoven. The potatoes will also be massaged. He says the masseurs will come from PRC(China). He heard that they are the best. He has asked Man City's Sun Jihai to do the recruitment of the masseurs. Since China is not playing in the World Cup, Sun can do so in the summer.

CG : Seems like he got all planned out.

Ron : Ya. And since Park and co are in England also, he may also bring in some Kimchi masseurs. All crap lah, you know. OK, I got to go. Take care man.

CG : You too. Talk to you again.

A Short Chat with Van Nistelrooy (I should be first choice striker)

Surprising, Alex Ferguson dropped Van Nistelrooy from the starting line up for the English League Cup Final. He did not even came on as a substitute even with Man U leading 4-0 by the 61st minute. So, how did he feel about the treatment and is he really leaving Man U? I really have to find out.
---------------------------

CrazyGuru : (Phone Ring)

V. Nistelrooy : Yes....who's that?

CG : Hello, Its me, CG.

VN : Hey, my man! Long time no talk, how are things?

CG : I am good....just a little busy with things. Hey, I thought you were suppose to play in the League Cup Final. What happened?

VN : That stupid Scot-man, ho got threathened by Saha. (Alex Ferguson is a Scottish)

CG : Sounds serious......

VN : Remember, we beat Liverpool in the Premier League game couple weeks ago? Fergie was very happy. You know lah, he still can't get over Liverpool winning the European Cup last season. So, he was celebrating like mad at the dressing room and insists all of us should go to to the Karaoke to celebrate. So, all of us went lah.....

CG : And then.....

VN : Then, when we got there, things really turn wild, Fergie drank a lot and was very high lah, then mid way, he went to his car and brought back his kilt, you know that skirt-lookalike thing that Scottish man wear. He then dance the whole night with just that kilt on lah....he was crazy man.

CG : He really in a good mood.VN : Then, that Sahas whip out his new Samseng Video-Cam I bought for him from his pocket. He took a good 5mins of it man. Then, the next day, he went to show Fergie the clip. After that, Fegie announced he will be starting the game for the League Cup Final, wah....just like that.

VN : I know I am in danger of losing my place, so I went to see Saha lah and tell him he should tell Fergie I will play alongside him. I mean, I also got credit right? I bought him the Video-Cam you know.

CG : Sounds logical

VN : Ya, then that Saha, really one kind. Say that not fair to Rooney lah, say Rooney play more like a support and can supply him the ball, blar....blar.....blar.....I feel like telling him. "Rooney can supply you the ball but can you score or not?" But of course, I hold back. Have to look at the big picture. So, just keep acting sincere and plead him. Wah....he really the "only one kind". You know what he say?

CG : What?

VN : He tell me that between Rooney and myself, whoever can dance and make him laugh the loudest with the kilt, he will choose him as the strikng partner. Wah pian.....I really feel like taking the V-Cam tripod and shove into his ass.

CG : So, you did compete?

VN : No lah.....can you imagine a white pig dancing with a kilt? When Sahas saw Rooney dance with the kilt(only), he laugh like no tomorrow. And because I don't want to do it, he told Fergie that I cannot even come in as a substitute.

CG : That's bad.......

VN : So, that's why I didn't play at all in the Final and looks like I have to leave Man U, no choice.

CG : Where you going?

VN : Not sure but definitely not Scotland.

CG : OK, best of luck.

VN : Thanks buddy.

Why go for difficult prediction when you can do it easy?

OK, I have received some criticism that my predictions has all been easy ones thus allowing me to have a high accuracy rate. Now, I don't really understand this. Why go for difficult gamble and run a higher chance of losing your money? Going for difficult guess will usually yield better returns of course, an example, if you go for the final score or home/away each half result. They probably give you a return between 3 to 10 times but think about it. The higher the return, the higher percentage of luck will need to be present for you to win, which means the amount of (prediction)skill involved is lesser.

So, in my opinion, skill composite is at its highest in a guess when the returns are between 100% to 200%. Meaning, if you get it correct, you win at least the same amount of money you placed. For me, I focus on bets that has 100% returns. I believe this is for me the right percentile that with a good high prediction accuracy, I can win good money also.

9 out of 10 wins in 100% return game is better than 4 out of 10 wins in 300% game. Assuming you place $100 for each game, your return for the first type of gambling is $800($900-$100). The 2nd will give you only $600($1200-$600). Of course, if your win rate can be better than 4 for a 300% return game, good for you. Then, I will really encourage you to concentrate on 300% return games. But for me, a high 100% return is good enough.

Any other comments or suggestions will be welcome. We should share our experience.

Barcelona will go through

I think it is clear by now who is the better team between Barcelona and Chelsea. When Mourinho decided to let the pitch at Stamford Bridge turn bad, I know by then Barcelona will have their revenge and proceed to the next stage.

You see, good players play on the ground. They pass the ball around, run with the ball and tease the opponents with their tricks. On the other hand, the "not so good" players like to play the long ball. That is the easiest way to send the ball to the danger area in the opponent's half. So, it is a common belief that good players play on the ground while the not-so-good ones play the long ball.

Now, if Mourinho is "damaging" the pitch so that Barcelona can't play on the ground, what is he telling his players? Of course, that the players from Barcelona are better.

And if the bumpy groung in Stamford Bridge can't help them to beat Barcelona, how then can they beat Barcelona in Nou Camp?

I think Barcelona will beat Chelsea by the same one goal margin tonight. Let's see.....

A Short Chat with Michael Ballack (I will leave Bayern Munich)

I know a lot of Chelsea fans are very concern if Michael Ballack will move to Chelsea at the end of the season. So, to understand more, I have to give him a call.

CrazyGuru : (Phone ring)

M.Ballack : Hello.....

CG : Hi, Michael. How are you?

MB : Never been better.

CG : I know, I know. I am happy for you. There are 3 clubs asking for your signature.Good for you.

MB : There are actually more but you know......too small for my consideration. I even got a call from Wimbledon FC. The manager says that they got Germans in the team and it will be easy for me to adapt in a foreign country with fellow countrymen. He say adapting well is important for my game. Crap right? I told him and his agent that they should go fly kite together.

CG : Ha.....ha....ya. So, seriously, who will you join?

MB : I want to win European Cup and become league champion. So, I must join a good team.

CG : Yes, agree.

MB : I tell you, I really want to go Real Madrid. I really want to be a Galactico.....You know, I am a superstar in Germany already and finally, I can be a superstar of Europe and the rest of the world. I even got the tattoo guy to do the word, "Galactico" on my small head. But when Mr.Perez resigned as the President, I really feel the sky drop down on me. What? Shit! No more, Galactico? WHY? Why do this to me? Can't he do this later? THIS IS TOO CRUEL TO ME!!!

CG : Yes, really cruel.

MB : Then, my agent arrange for me to talk to Roma. The manager, Spaletti really can talk, I think if he talk to the birds, they will definitely come down from the tree. He told me how good they are and how he will strategies the play and team around me; What I can achieve with Roma, blar....blar....blar.....They also offer me a good package. I was really tempted. Then, when I look at their league position, only 4th!!! I tell you CG, for so many years I have been with Bayern, we have always been at the top, worse case second, I am not use to the air below lah. It is not good for my health.

CG : So.......how?

MB : So.....I ask the manager to go fly kite. I even bought him one, pink colour "Hello Kitty" design one. And a long string. From the way he talk, I know he can fly the kite very high.

CG : Ha.......

MB : So, Chelsea is the only choice left. I will join them.

CG : I see........

MB : OK, I have to go. Going out now, (shit!)need to see if the doctor can remove the tattoo.

CG : Ouch......ok, Bye.

Weekend Games update

So, you guys win some money yesterday? Hope so. Today's game is tough. I will not suggest you play or if you really need to, play a bit for the fun of it. The Man City game looks promising. Take them.
If you can wait, I suggest Monday's night game between ManU and Wigan. I think another high scoring game. Just this time expect, Wigan to score some goals also.

That's all for prediction.

Tomorrow we have the short chat with Ballack and most likely I will be talking to Van Nistelrooy on Tueday. Hope he is available.
